A few weeks ago, I criticised the show right here on Forbes. I was told I'm a racist, misogynist and a whole host of other ists and phobes. Despite me being an African, and taking exception to the token race swapping, and putting black characters in a show written by a white man for England. I also criticised Galadriel for being the most unlikeable character in All of Christendom. But no, I was a racist apparently. AND a misogynist. Despite my favourite characters being people like The Bride, Captain Janeway (but not Burnham). The irony, is that when you criticise a show like Bored of the Rings, these liberals instantly assume it's because you're racist. Or misogynist. Which in itself is an assumption based in racism and misogyny- because all these "white knights" see is that they cannot find fault except when gender or skin colour is mentioned. Amazon made a terrible mistake by hiring nobody screen writers, insisting on bending it to include their modern racist woke agenda and making that the focus of the show. As an African man, I can very easily identify with characters without them looking like me. Like Uma Thurman, or Chris Pine or even the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Donatello. But then, I'm not mentally ill and a complete narcissist. It's a pity Amazon ruined the franchise in this way. It would be better if they went back to the drawing board and instead of a season 2, make a Season 1 redux
Отлично сказал, я считаю.
